Complaints process

  1. If you are dissatisfied in any way with LBC (South)'s Building Control service please contact Chris Wigley on 01243 780779 or by email to

  2. We will investigate your complaint and respond within 5 working days.

  3. If further details are required so we can carry out our investigation we will request these from you.

  4. If we are unable to resolve the complaint to your satisfaction, you may refer the matter to the Construction Industry Council.

  5. The Code of Conduct for Approved Inspectors is available on the CIC website (, or you may request that we send you a copy.

We want to assure clients that LBC (South) will do our best to provide them with a good and helpful service.
